Every musician has sat down to write.

Every musician has had a quiet moment of success. A moment that makes you sit back and appreciate what you’ve done.

But any real musician has experienced the grin. 

The grin is the moment after you stumble onto something that even impresses yourself, and for some reason, the only reflex that your body outputs is a sharp grin. Its a cocky, rude, and studious smile that almost screams, “I’m not sure you just experienced that, but let me assure you, it was fucking fantastic.”

Most importantly, it’s completely spontaneous and random. That’s the beauty of it. That’s the beauty of art.
